CVS - AutoCAD Drafter

JOB Title: AutoCAD Drafter

Rate: 10AUD/hour

Type: 30 hours per week

Purpose:Theposition’s primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to helpdesign floor plans to build real estate or architectural projects. Thishighly-trained draftsman will work with architects and engineers to design andcreate 3D computer models of buildings from blueprints or from scratch.

Qualifications:

• Must have arelevant experience as a Drafter.
• Proficiencyin AutoCAD is a MUST. Experience with Solidworks is a PLUS
• Interpersonalskills for building and developing relationships with clients
• Written andverbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people,both internally and externally
• Team Workingskills and a collaborative approach to work

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawingsusing AutoCAD (2d) and Solidworks (3d) software
• Work with engineers and otherprofessionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
• Write related technicaldocuments such as material lists and cost estimates
• Ensure that all drawings areaccurate and meet industry standards
• Maintain a library ofstandard drawing templates
• Update existing drawings asnew information becomes available
