Contract Electrical Design Engineer – EPLAN

Location: Lincolnshire (Remote Working Available)
Contract Length: 6 Months rolling outside IR35
Rate: £45–£55 per hour DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering client based in Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong EPLAN experience to support a range of electrical design and engineering projects on a contract basis.

The Role:

• Electrical design and engineering using EPLAN
• Producing detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
• Working closely with engineering and project teams
• Occasional travel to site when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
• Strong working knowledge of EPLAN
• Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience within automation, controls, or industrial engineering environments
• Own EPLAN licence would be a significant advantage

Additional Information:

• Primarily remote working
• Occasional site visits required within the Lincolnshire area
• Flexible contract opportunity with competitive rates available (£45–£55 per hour DOE)
