As a Process Intelligence Engineer, you will map howRobot.comtruly operates and automate it using AI agents. As an engineer in this area, you will translate process discoveries into production-ready automations that eliminate manual work across every team in the company. The scope is company-wide and the roadmap is ours to define — this is a greenfield role where you'll help buildRobot.com's internal automation layer from the ground up.
Location: Remote: Colombia.
As aProcess Intelligence Engineer, you have several responsibilities including but not limited to:
Design and build automation workflows and AI agents that eliminate manual work across business processes company-wide.
Integrate automations with internal platforms and external tools; comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and custom logic at the code level when no-code falls short.
Apply security best practices when handling company data and processes — access control, credential management, and safe data handling are a shared responsibility in this role.
Collaborate with the Process Intelligence Lead to translate process discoveries into technical, production-ready solutions.
Maintain and iterate on live automations based on real-world feedback and performance data.
Document what you build so others can understand, replicate, and improve it.
Support the internal AI adoption program by contributing automations that serve as blueprints for other teams.
This role might be the right one for you if you have:
Hands-on experience building with AI agent frameworks — LangChain, Claude API, OpenAI Agents SDK, OpenRouter, or equivalent..
English and Spanish fluency: Writing, reading, and conversational C1 level.
Proficiency with automation tools — n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Active use of AI-assisted development environments — Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar; you don't just use AI as a search engine, you build with it.
Soft skills:
Works autonomously and figures things out without a detailed roadmap.
Curious about how businesses operate, not just how systems work.
Communicates clearly with both technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.
Takes data privacy and security seriously — understands that handling company processes and credentials comes with responsibility.
Patient and persistent when debugging and iterating on solutions.
Bonus Points (You might have also had):
Scripting or development experience in any language (JS/TS, Python, or similar) enough to write custom logic, call an API, or debug an integration.
Experience deploying web applications, APIs, or agents to production.
SQL and Postgres; ability to build or read dashboards.
Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving tech environment.
Personal or open-source automation or AI agent projects.
Interest in process design or operational efficiency.
