Design Engineer

Rillet is seeking a Design Engineer to help define great product craft and own the full arc from visual concept to shipped product. The role involves driving Rillet’s platform refresh, building and evolving the design system, and translating brand direction into a cohesive product experience.

Requirements

• Exceptional taste in design and engineering
• Deep curiosity and exploration of new products, tools, and interaction patterns
• Strong product instincts and ability to reason from customer needs to interface decisions
• Frontend fluency in modern web interfaces and experience in React or Svelte
• Comfort working from ambiguity and ability to take open-ended product areas and prototype options
• Systems thinking and care for reusable primitives, scalable patterns, and design tokens
• High craft in details such as spacing, type, hierarchy, motion, and accessibility
