Senior Shopify Frontend Developer

We’re Riess Group – a Shopify Plus Agency that’s been designing and developing stunning websites and web apps since 2006. We're a fully remote team of 35+ hardworking and talented individuals spanning 20+ countries. We are hiring for a Senior Frontend Shopify Developer full time position.

In this role, you’ll be developing and changing themes for some of our biggest VIP clients, from the hottest startups to Fortune 500 companies, as well as businesses that are growing fast and need the help of a premier Shopify Plus agency. You should be task-driven, self-managed, and ready to learn on the go and drive projects forward. Your extremely high standards for yourself and the quality of work you deliver should make our merchants never want to have to deal with another buggy spiderweb-code developer again.

In this role, you will:

• Develop extremely high quality frontend code for Shopify themes

• Quality check your own work before handing off to our QA Engineers

• Make recommendations and help scope new projects for new and existing clients

• Coordinate with your peers (PMs, designers, QA, etc.) and the client to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of work

• Other needs, both mundane and exciting, to assist our team and our clients

Expected salary: $70,000-$115,000 USD / year

Position is available for both contractor and employee applicants. Employees are hired through our EOR, Remote.com when outside of the USA. Benefits and PTO are only available for employees and all benefits vary by region.

Requirements

You must have:

• At least 2 years or more of strong experience developing Shopify themes. Bonus points if this is in the context of working at an agency.

• Excellent written English skills, and comfortable as well speaking in English on calls with clients and colleagues.

• 6 hours of your daily work hours must overlap with Texas business hours (8am-5pm USA CT).

Your schedule most overlap at least 6 hours with USA CT time zone business hours (8am-5pm USA are our normal business hours).
