Software Engineer Tech Lead (React Native)

Our team runs a multi-tenant Phoenix app powering 3 motorcycle/powersports-centric eCommerce brands: RevZilla, Cycle Gear, and J&P Cycles. We are looking for an experienced Elixir developer, and technical thought leader to join us in delivering quality software in service of our mission to advance the experience of powersports enthusiasts across the globe. Specifically, this role’s primary objective will be to support the development of a mobile app via React Native.

Our Next Tech Lead Will:

• Lead discovery and implementation of a high-priority project to build a React Native-powered native app.
• Have expert-level knowledge of React Native, and experience with leading and architecting large-scale technical efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with internal technical leadership, stakeholders, and external parties to integrate with third party software.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of automated testing.

Our Next Tech Lead Has:

• Proven production experience with React Native.
• Exposure to, or experience with Phoenix/Elixir.
• Experience working with legacy systems.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD within a team setting.

Bonus Points:

• eCommerce development experience
• WebView Migration experience
• Live in the Philadelphia area
• Exposure to motorcycles/powersports
• Comfort with/openness to AI development tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Codespaces/other remote development environments
