Rarecarat.com powers over $100m in annual sales by creating transparency in a historically opaque industry using AI indicators and human expert advice. Operating on an innovative "managed marketplace" business model, the company combines the selection advantages of a marketplace with the quality assurance of a traditional retailer.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Finance

• Assist with bookkeeping and maintaining financial records.
• Work with trial balances, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable (AP) processes and vendor management.
• Assist in processing payments and monitoring transactions.
• Conduct basic financial reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.

2. Operations & Compliance

• Assist in invoice verification and processing vendor payouts.
• Support internal audits and provide data for financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in financial reporting and documentation for tax purposes.
• Track and update financial records regularly to ensure accuracy.

3. Administrative & Coordination

• Work closely with the senior finance team to support daily operations.
• Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and financial summaries.
• Help coordinate with vendors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Support process improvements in financial workflows.

Qualifications Required

• Qualifications:
• • BCom/MCom or relevant finance/accounting degree.
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Technical Skills:
• • Basic understanding of trial balances, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Experience with vendor management and payment processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
• Soft Skills:
• • Strong English communication and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Working Hours

7 pm - 3 am IST (US EST Timing)
