We are seeking an Emergency and Trauma Care Coding Associate to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10 CM and CPT codes for accurate and timely billing. The ideal candidate will have an active CPC, CCS, CCSP, RHIT, or RHIA coding certificate and experience in pro-fee and facility coding for emergency and trauma care.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Active CPC, CCS, CCSP, RHIT, or RHIA with work experience in infusion and injection coding and emergency and trauma care
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines in both facility and pro fee coding including ICD-10 CM, HCPCS, and CPT and E/M
