About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to join a major HR digitalization project focused on transforming HR and payroll processes. The project aims to reduce manual payroll calculations, minimize paper-based HR administration, and increase overall operational efficiency.
As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP HCM customizations and You will work closely with HCM consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SAP ABAP solutions for HR and payroll processes;
- Support the customization of SAP HCM modules (work contracts, retro payroll, expat payroll);
- Assist in preparing and executing unit and user acceptance testing (UAT);
- Collaborate on test scenarios, data migration, and validation activities;
- Support change management processes by providing technical expertise;
- Assist in Go-live and post Go-live support, including bug-fixing and operational documentation;
- Document ABAP developments, processes, and technical specifications;
- Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure system meets functional and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ABAP development for SAP HCM and Payroll (minimum 2 successful projects of similar scope & complexity in the last 5 years);
- Strong understanding of SAP HCM payroll processes, including retroactive payroll and expat payroll scenarios;
- Experience in customizing SAP reports, forms (e.g., legal reports), and templates;
- Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in English;
- Knowledge of integration with Word/PDF templates and document mass transfer automation in SAP.
Advantages:
