The role involves developing new solutions and maintaining existing ones, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, backend development, or integrations
- Experience with at least one backend language (Node.js, Ruby, or Python preferred)
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and asynchronous workflows
- Ability to design scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions
- Experience working with SQL databases or DataWarehouses (Snowflake is a plus)
- Exposure to cloud platforms is appreciated
- Interest in full stack development, Git workflows and CI/CD practices
- Excellent analytical skills, structured thinking and the ability to synthesise
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
- Fluent English (US/UK), French speaking is a plus
- Knowledge of BigCommerce is a plus
