PradeepIT is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team for our esteemed client, Brillio. This role requires exceptional expertise in automation testing methodologies and tools, particularly in a US shift schedule. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Brillio's software products through the development and execution of automated test suites.

Job Description:

As a Senior QA Automation Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and quality assurance, along with expertise in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Overview

• Timing: 6:30 pm - 2:30 am
• Number of Positions: 01
• Contract Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
2. Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
3. Conduct both white box and black box testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
4. Utilize automated testing tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
5. Possess solid knowledge of SQL, scripting, and data analysis for test data preparation and validation.
6. Work within an Agile/Scrum development process, facilitating and executing testing activities in an agile environment.
7. Utilize Azure DevOps to create and maintain test cases and defects.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
9. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
10. Business Analysis background is required to collaborate with Business Analysts to assist in creating and maintaining business requirements as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting, and data analysis.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, specifically testing facilitation and execution.
• Experience working in Azure DevOps to create and maintain test cases and defects.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
