The role involves direct engagement with regulators and requires a strong understanding of derivatives, exchange, and clearing regulation, as well as financial market structure.
Requirements
- J.D. and active U.S. bar membership
- 3–7 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with the Commodity Exchange Act, CFTC regulations, and related market structure
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong judgment and ability to translate legal requirements into practical business guidance
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with CFTC processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with prediction markets (preferred)
- Experience with FCMs and IBs (preferred)
- Interest in emerging technologies (preferred)
