Program Manager_Offshore

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the successful execution of a large-scale platform replatforming program. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the collaboration between Photon, client stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams. The Program Manager will ensure smooth delivery from discovery through deployment, driving alignment, resolving dependencies, and ensuring all program milestones are met on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Planning & Execution
  • Own and manage the “Technical Discovery & Blueprint Design” phase to establish a structured and comprehensive foundation for the program.
  • Define and maintain a master program plan, aligned with Agile/SAFe delivery principles and client timelines.
• Cross-Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate the Core Transversal Team, ensuring architectural consistency, alignment to standards, and knowledge sharing across squads.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Photon and client leadership to ensure seamless communication, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Delivery & Dependency Management
  • Track progress across sprints and workstreams, proactively addressing risks, blockers, and resourcing needs.
  • Ensure client-side deliverables, infrastructure readiness, and external dependencies are delivered on time.
  • Facilitate vendor coordination to ensure timely delivery of all work products and integration points.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive decision-making, issue escalation, and change management processes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in program or project management, with a successful track record delivering complex IT transformation or replatforming projects.
  • Strong background in managing enterprise-level projects within financial services, capital markets, or similarly regulated industries.
• Methodologies & Tools
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe Agile frameworks, with experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and PI planning.
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Leadership & Communication
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-cultural team leadership, including coordination of blended onshore-offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Technical Acumen
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), architecture governance, and development-to-deployment handoffs.
  • Ability to interface with architects, tech leads, QA leads, and client-side business owners.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent certifications.
• Previous experience in AI-enabled transformation or platform modernization programs.
• Understanding of middleware technologies (MQ/Kafka), legacy systems (C/C++), and modern platforms (Java, microservices).
