Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within our Experience Design group for our locations in St. Louis, Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Chicago or Lafayette, LA. While our headquarters is located in St. Louis, MO, this position can also be remote within the United States.

Perficient’s Experience Design group (XD) is purpose-built to help companies who believe that Customer Experience is the defining strategic imperative of our day. We continue to expand our network of offices across North America, as well as locations in South America, Mexico, India, and China as we move more towards a global delivery model.

The Senior Project Manager role is intended to manage and adapt continuously to project goals. This highly collaborative leadership role will need to work closely with clients, all departments, including account, marketing, creative and technology teams, to deliver quality solutions for our customers.

Agency/Consulting experience and Experience Design and/or Digital Marketing Project Management experience is required.

  • Experience leading new website design and builds and/or mobile apps from start to finish for large, enterprise clients.
  • Must be able to confidently lead geographically distributed teams through the full project lifecycle of digital design, digital marketing, and technical projects. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
  • Strong relationship management, some account management, and sales support experience.
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Lead cross-discipline teams, manage client relationships, interact with product owners/managers and other business units. Coordinate internal and external IT partners.
  • Establish scope, create schedules, develop estimates with a team, manage deliverables, and control risks and changes.
  • Plan, manage, and maintain project budgets.
  • Create and maintain project documentation to ensure visibility to teams, management, and clients.
  • Establish common goals across teams and define relevant metrics and reporting to track team performance.
  • Manage multiple projects on different tracks.
  • Skilled at keeping an eye on the big picture, while managing the details.
  • Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • 8+ years of project management experience in a digital consultancy or equivalent environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Scrum/Agile Methodology.
  • Requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Jira.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
