- We’re currently hiring on behalf of one of our growing US mortgage clients for a detail-driven professional who enjoys structured work, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in delivering clean, accurate loan submissions.
- As aUS Mortgage Loan Processor – Submission Specialist, you’ll play a key role in preparing and submitting mortgage loan files with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- You’ll review documentation, execute quality control checks, run AUS findings, and ensure files are submission-ready before reaching underwriting. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple active files, and confidence working across lender portals and mortgage systems.
- You’ll work closely with loan officers and internal stakeholders to help keep the loan pipeline moving smoothly while minimizing lender conditions and submission issues.
- Review mortgage loan files for accuracy and completeness.
- Execute detailed quality control checks across loan documentation.
- Run DU and LP findings and compare outcomes.
- Select optimal underwriting findings with minimal conditions.
- Submit loan files through lender portals.
- Order FHA case numbers and verify VA COE where applicable.
- Track loan progress and maintain accurate system updates.
- Communicate professionally with loan officers and stakeholders.
- Escalate complex loan scenarios appropriately.
- Manage multiple active files while meeting turnaround expectations.
- Maintain organized and compliant loan documentation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- 2+ years of mortgage processing, submission, underwriting support, or related mortgage experience.
- Strong understanding of AUS systems (DU and/or LP).
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- Ability to interpret underwriting findings.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and lender portals.
- Reliable remote working setup and stable internet connection.
- Ability to work US Eastern Time hours.
- Experience using Arive LOS.
- Experience with FHA, VA, and USDA loan processes.
- FHA case number ordering experience.
- VA COE verification experience.
- Knowledge of income calculation and asset sourcing.
- Exposure to pre-submission QC or loan auditing.
- Familiarity with Airtable or workflow tracking tools.
