About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Finance Support Administrator to support end-to-end finance and administrative operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate invoicing, payroll processing, contractor onboarding, and system reconciliation.
You'll work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Invoicing
- Manage end-to-end invoicing for direct placements and contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Process credit notes, adjustments, and placement updates as needed
- Monitor placement accuracy and revenue flow using spreadsheets and internal systems
Payroll & Contractor Management
- Support payroll processing across temporary, contingent, fixed-term, and permanent employees
- Handle contractor onboarding, including contract preparation and payroll system setup
- Ensure all onboarding and payroll processes are completed accurately and on time
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform reconciliations and assist in resolving mid-month and end-of-month variances
- Maintain alignment across internal systems and financial records
- Support reporting requirements and finance-related administrative tasks
Administrative & Stakeholder Support
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to queries from customers, candidates, and consultants
- Provide general administrative support across finance operations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to support daily activities
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and provide coverage when needed
What We're Looking For
- 2–3+ years of experience in finance administration, payroll, invoicing, or similar roles
- Strong experience in invoicing and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy under pressure
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) — critical for success in the role
- Ability to manage high-volume tasks and multiple stakeholders effectively
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with finance and CRM systems such as:
- Payroll systems
- Reporting tools (e.g., YellowFin or similar)
- CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, JobAdder)
- Accounting tools (e.g., SAGE – highly preferred)
Nice to Have
- Background in Accounting or Finance (preferred but not required)
