Finance Controller

Position Description: Group Finance Controller

Client: MatchMove Pay Philippines, Inc.

Location: Remote, PH, 9AM to 6PM PHT

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Controller to oversee

the day-to-day finance operations and reporting for our growing group of entities across the region. This role will play a key part in managing financial controls, reporting, and consolidation, with strong collaboration across remote teams and external partners in Singapore, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Oversight

o Review and approve daily journal entries posted in NetSuite by the finance team.

o Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Month-End Close & Reporting

o Lead the monthly closing of books across group entities.

o Prepare and deliver consolidated monthly management accounts.

o Review and approve all outbound invoices on a monthly basis.

o Manage accounts payable (AP) and ensure timely disbursements.

o Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and collections to maintain positive cash flow.

Cash Flow & Planning

o Produce weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring visibility and control over liquidity across entities.

Transfer Pricing & Intercompany Transactions

o Manage transfer pricing requirements, ensuring proper documentation and execution of intercompany flows.

Compliance & Reporting

o Handle limited financial reporting to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

o Ensure compliance with local and regional regulatory requirements, in coordination with external advisors.

Qualifications & Experience

o Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA qualification strongly preferred.

o 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a solid foundation in financial control, consolidation, and compliance.

o Strong NetSuite experience is essential.

o Proven experience working across multi-entity, multi-country operations.

o Experience working in tech startups or high-growth, non-traditional environments is highly advantageous.

o Comfort working with distributed, remote teams and managing external advisors in multiple countries.
