Peak Ocean is seeking a skilled Jack-Up System Operator to join our offshore team, responsible for the precise operation of jacking legs and lift systems on our offshore rigs and installation vessels.
Requirements
- Execute the deployment and retraction of jacking legs in accordance with vessel operating manuals and site-specific assessments (SSA).
- Monitor vessel trim, list, and ballast during the transition from floating to jacked-up mode.
- Analyze soil penetration data and leg loadings to prevent 'punch-through' incidents or uneven settling.
- Perform routine inspections and first-line maintenance on hydraulic or rack-and-pinion jacking mechanisms, motors, and brakes.
- Work closely with the Bridge (DP Operator) and the Crane Operator to ensure the vessel is perfectly positioned and stabilized before heavy lifts begin.
- Maintain accurate logs of leg penetration depths, rack phase differences (RPD), and system pressures for project records.
