YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement and Solutions Design:
- Understand Client Needs: Participate in prospective and existing client meetings to understand their data requirements and recommend solutions that fulfill their business use cases.
- Technical Relationships: Own the technical relationship with our most strategic and largest prospective clients.
- Design Workflows: Create and design the best workflows to integrate our solutions into clients' systems.
- Solution Presentations: Lead requirements discovery, solution presentations, Proof of Concept builds, and various workshop formats with clients.
- Engagement: Engage with technical and non-technical clients to demonstrate potential solutions effectively
Technical Expertise and Support:
- Scraping Knowledge: Utilize in-depth knowledge of web scraping, data structures, and anti-bot bypass techniques to support and guide clients.
- Technical Inquiries: Respond to advanced product and technical questions, RFPs, and security questionnaires promptly and accurately.
- Customer Onboarding: Provide thoughtful technical guidance to ensure customers quickly and successfully onboard with Oxylabs.
- Documentation: Document technical considerations and contribute to internal knowledge bases to support other teams, customers, and partners.
Collaboration and Feedback:
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Sales and Account Management teams on engagements with prospective and existing customers to provide technical guidance and support.
- Product Feedback: Curate structured product feedback to help Product and Engineering teams enhance and refine our offerings.
- Sales Training: Educate the sales team on product details, upcoming releases, competitive analysis, and insights into typical customer environments and third-party applications.
Marketing and Knowledge Sharing:
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to refine our technical narrative, including creating blog posts, webinars, and customer-facing marketing collateral.
YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience operating within China’s internet environment and Great Firewall constraints;
- Strong networking foundation: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/MTLS, proxies (HTTP/SOCKS), load balancing, NAT/VPN;
- Strong data background: APIs, data pipelines, quality/validation, normalization, monitoring for data flows;
- Familiar with digital-native architectures: APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns; hands-on debugging across layers;
- Cloud basics: practical experience with at least one global cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and one China cloud (Alibaba/Tencent/Huawei/ Byteplus);
- Hands-on mitigation of GFW issues: latency, packet loss, SNI/TLS filtering, route instability; experience with CN PoPs and smart routing;
- Understanding of CN PIPL, Data Security Law, Cybersecurity Law; able to propose compliant cross-border architectures;
- Familiar with ICP filing basics, when Mainland CDN/WAF/hosting needs licenses; awareness of MLPS 2.0 in enterprise reviews;
- Experienced working with local ISPs/SIs/cloud vendors;
- Familiar with local WAF/anti-bot ecosystem (e.g., Alibaba/Tencent WAF, Qianxin) and CAPTCHA/device-fingerprinting norms;
- Discovery excellence: uncovering use cases, constraints, success criteria; mapping technical value to ROI;
- PoC design and delivery: scoping, instrumentation, measurable outcomes, clear handover.
- Experience with web data acquisition at scale: session management, fingerprinting considerations, CAPTCHA strategies, rotation policies;
- IP reputation management; understanding residential/mobile/datacenter IP sourcing in China and compliance constraints;
- Target-site variability troubleshooting and success-rate optimization.
- Ability to isolate GFW vs target-site WAF vs ISP congestion;
- Familiarity with monitoring/telemetry stacks (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Kubernetes/containers, Terraform, CI/CD basics for infra and app rollouts;
- Scripting for integrations/tooling (Python/Go/JS);
- Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Alibaba/AWS/Azure Associate/Professional, CKA/CKAD, CISSP/CCSP;
- Domain exposure: AI, e-commerce, fintech, adtech, travel, or marketplace data in China.
FOR YOU TO SUCCSEED IN THIS POSTION YOU HAVE TO HAVE:
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and meeting facilitation skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese;
- Eligible to travel to Europe, Mainland China and the APAC region;
- Proven track record of collaborating with technical personas such as product owners, software engineers, and chief technology officers;
- Strong focus to quality and details;
- Proven track record of troubleshooting client's problems and solving them;
- Strong communications skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with customers.

SALARY:
- Gross salary: 7900-8333 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competences.
