The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects achieve compliance with Building Regulations and fire safety standards while supporting quality assurance throughout design, construction, and project completion stages.
Requirements
- Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong experience in fire engineering, building compliance, or construction consultancy
- Significant on-site experience with strong understanding of construction methods and fire safety installations
- Excellent technical knowledge of Building Regulations, BCAR requirements, and fire safety legislation
- Experience reviewing fire strategies, technical drawings, and construction documentation
- Strong understanding of passive and active fire protection systems
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage compliance processes across multiple projects
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence
