Role Overview
The Contract Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing contract-related and financial documents with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. This role is critical to ensuring that contract data is entered correctly, records are reliable, and downstream teams can operate without rework or delays.
This is not a legal or compliance role. Success in this position depends on attention to detail, careful review habits, and the ability to spot inconsistencies that others may overlook.
Key Responsibilities
Detailed Contract & Document Review
- Review contracts, invoices, and billing-related documents line by line
- Identify key data points such as dates, payment terms, billing details, and contract values
- Compare multiple documents to ensure information aligns correctly
- Detect inconsistencies, missing fields, or formatting errors
High-Accuracy Data Entry & Validation
- Enter extracted data into spreadsheets and internal systems with zero tolerance for careless errors
- Double-check all entries against source documents before submission
- Validate numerical values, dates, and text fields for accuracy and completeness
- Correct discrepancies proactively rather than passing errors downstream
Record Management & Organization
- Maintain clean, well-labeled contract records
- Ensure documents are stored in the correct location with proper version control
- Keep audit-ready records that can be easily reviewed or referenced
Issue Identification & Communication
- Flag unclear or conflicting information immediately
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve questions before finalizing entries
- Document corrections and updates clearly

- Minimal rework requests from downstream teams
- Consistent accuracy even under volume or deadline pressure
