About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Analyst (Manual Testing) to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of web-based applications through thorough manual testing practices. This role is ideal for someone who is who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about identifying issues before they reach end-users.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, validating requirements, executing test cases, and clearly documenting findings. The role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of QA fundamentals, and the ability to work in dynamic environments where quality and collaboration are critical.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance
- Review requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to clarify issues and validate fixes
- Ensure testing activities align with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Maintain clear and accurate testing documentation
Must Have:
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience testing web-based applications (mobile testing is a plus)
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally
Nice to Have:
- Experience with mobile application testing
- Exposure to basic test case design techniques
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments
- Interest in expanding toward automation testing in the future
