Principal, Advisory and Capacity Building (Remote or Illinois-based)

One Million Degrees (OMD) is seeking a visionary and equitable Principal to lead their Advisory and Capacity Building (ACB) program. This role focuses on scaling OMD’s national impact, particularly within dual enrollment and workforce transitions. The Principal will partner with colleges, K-12 districts, intermediaries, and public agencies, ensuring consistent implementation of evidence-based programs.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must possess a ‘can-do’ work ethic and mindset
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master or PhD in education, public policy, or related field preferred
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience in higher education
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and facilitation skills
• Proven track record in managing strategic relationships
• Deep knowledge of K-12 education, higher education, and workforce spaces
• Experience establishing and maintaining consistent operational systems
