Strategy & Portfolio Manager- Remote within the US

Job Summary/Objective Drives strategic portfolio management across four collision solution categories, developing and executing integrated strategies that connect our products, services, and processes to deliver cohesive customer value. Leads cross-portfolio initiatives that align our certifications, coaching, parts, repair planning, and insurance solutions to strategic objectives while ensuring optimal resource allocation and investment prioritization across the collision autobody shop market.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  • Identifies and recommends a comprehensive portfolio strategy that integrates multiple solution categories into a unified market approach for collision autobody shops and their partners. Supports the execution of cross-solution synergies through process integration, service bundling, and software connectivity. Leads portfolio roadmap development ensuring strategic alignment and optimal sequencing of initiatives across all solution categories.
  • Manages portfolio performance through established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, making data-driven investment and resource allocation recommendations. Conducts portfolio optimization analysis to maximize customer value and business returns across solution categories. Leads strategic planning cycles, ensuring portfolio initiatives support overarching business objectives.
  • Designs and implements initiatives that connect solutions through integrated processes, unified service offerings, and interconnected software platforms. Partners with product teams to identify integration opportunities that enhance customer experience and competitive positioning. Drives development of bundled offerings that leverage multiple solution categories.
  • Helps to support the strategic alignment across all solution categories, maintaining consistent priorities and messaging. Works with department leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Monitors collision industry trends and competitive landscape to inform portfolio strategy and identify market opportunities. Provides strategic recommendations to senior leadership on portfolio evolution and market positioning.
  • Creates and delivers compelling strategic presentations to educate, inform, and drive portfolio visibility and alignment. Coordinates change management and project management efforts for cross-portfolio initiatives, anticipating challenges and proactively implementing solutions to ensure milestone delivery.

Education A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Business Administration, Strategy, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies At least 3 years of product management experience (with agile methodology) is required, with experience in portfolio management or multi-product strategy roles. Work background must include the following:

  • Proven track record of developing integrated strategies that connect multiple products or service and executing synergies across products, services and processes.
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple product lines, including resource allocation, performance optimization and trade-offs with B2B and/or automotive industry experience.
  • Experience with portfolio management frameworks that enable a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio as well as implementing key initiatives.
  • Experience with leading teams through strategic planning methodologies such as SWOT, PESTLE, and OKRs.

Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to influence and align teams across multiple solution areas without direct authority, building consensus on strategic priorities.
  • Skilled at developing and delivering compelling strategic presentations that drive alignment and decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills and can tailor messaging to a specific audience/situation from individual contributors to executive leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market intelligence into actionable, data-driven portfolio strategies and competitive positioning, complete with financial analysis and modeling.
  • Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
