We are Northwest Open Access Network (NoaNet), a non-profit public benefit broadband organization established in 2000 to bridge the digital divide in Washington State. Founded by several Public Utility Districts (PUDs), our mission has always been to bring high-speed connectivity to unserved and underserved rural communities. We believe that access to reliable broadband is not just a luxury but a necessity for economic growth, education, healthcare, and public safety.

Over the past two decades, we have built and now operate a robust open-access fiber optic network that spans thousands of miles across the Pacific Northwest. Unlike traditional telecom providers, we operate on a wholesale model, providing the critical backbone infrastructure that allows local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to deliver top-tier connectivity to homes and businesses. By leveraging our relationships with public utilities and community partners, we create a technology platform that enhances lives and facilitates essential utility operations. We are driven by a commitment to public service, reinvesting our revenues back into the network to ensure that every community we serve has the digital tools they need to thrive in the modern world.
