POSITION GOAL:
The Human Resources Business Analyst serves as a key strategic partner by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to inform organizational decision-making. This role is instrumental in optimizing workforce planning, improving HR processes, and delivering actionable, data-driven insights to HR leaders and business stakeholders. The analyst ensures the accuracy and integrity of data across HR systems and develops dynamic dashboards, reports, and predictive models that guide people strategies and support business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collect, manage, and analyze HR data from multiple systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS, Payroll) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Design, generate, and maintain recurring and ad hoc HR reports—such as headcount, turnover, diversity metrics, and compensation—using tools like APEX, SQL, Windward, and Power BI.
- Develop and maintain interactive HR dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms to visualize key workforce metrics.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits, validation processes, and partnership with HR teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support compliance and regulatory reporting by ensuring accurate and timely submission of required HR data.
- Provide analytical support for annual HR processes including performance management, compensation planning, and workforce forecasting.
- Drive process improvement by automating reporting workflows and recommending innovative data and analytical solutions.
- Safeguard confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information in accordance with data privacy standards and company policies.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in HR analytics, HR reporting, or data analysis.
- Proficiency with SQL, APEX, Golden, or other data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with Windward for report generation and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in fast-paced or large enterprise environments, demonstrating adaptability and attention to detail.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CBAP) preferred but not required.
