About the Company

Our client is a Series C B2B SaaS company headquartered in London, providing supply chain visibility and logistics optimisation software to mid-market and enterprise clients across Europe. With £60m raised and strong ARR growth, the business is preparing for its next fundraise and exploring M&A opportunities to accelerate product and market expansion. They are building a Strategic Finance function to sit alongside FP&A and support the CFO and CEO on the most complex financial and strategic decisions.

The Role

As Strategic Finance Manager, you will be a trusted analytical partner to the CFO and CEO, leading financial strategy, supporting fundraising processes, and driving commercial insight across the business. This role sits at the intersection of finance and strategy, with direct exposure to investor relations, M&A evaluation, and long-term business planning.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the financial modelling for fundraising processes, including investor materials, data room preparation, and due diligence support.

  • Build and maintain the long-range financial model, supporting scenario planning and strategic option analysis.

  • Screen and financially evaluate M&A and partnership opportunities, working alongside the commercial team.

  • Produce executive and board-level financial narratives that connect trading performance to strategic priorities.

  • Support the CFO on ad hoc strategic projects, including pricing strategy, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, or a strategic finance role within a high-growth technology business.

  • Exceptional financial modelling skills, including SaaS metrics, 3-statement modelling, and scenario analysis.

  • Comfortable working at pace and managing ambiguity in a scale-up environment.

  • Strong executive communication skills, able to present to investors and board members with confidence.

  • Experience supporting a venture or growth equity fundraise is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of £90,000 – £115,000, depending on experience.

  • Annual performance bonus.

  • EMI equity options with meaningful upside.

  • Private health cover, enhanced pension, and hybrid working from London.
