Overview
This is a Full Stack Engineering role to support platform service development and operations within the Digital Delivery (D2) team at Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS). The position is part of a motivated team focused on the design, development, deployment, and operation of container platform services for the LM Hybrid environment. The role is AI-focused, with the expectation that the candidate will champion and promote the use of AI tools for development where applicable.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via command-line interface.
- DevOps experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience scripting with Python and BASH.
- Familiarity with application containerization, APIs, and services.
- Experience using AI tools for creating, modifying, testing, and documenting code.
- Knowledge of common tools such as GitLab and ServiceNow.
- Excellent people, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Go, Splunk, Ansible, Helm, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Orchestration, and Automation.
- Experience with services (e.g., Service Mesh, other microservices).
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting AI hardware such as H200s, A100s, etc. for use in a Kubernetes cluster.
- Technical experience with capturing requirements, system design, implementation, and testing.
- Experience with system administration in a large distributed environment.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer or related field and prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in teams using development methodologies and concepts.
- Experience deploying applications in on-premise environments and to the public cloud.
- Experience working in a virtual organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Remote Work
Full-time remote telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
