The Role:
As a Software Architect, you will serve as an authoritative expert and leader in software architecture, overseeing complex and critical projects. This role is responsible for software strategic planning, design, development, collaboration, and communication.
Security Clearance Required
- Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. persons and eligible for a U/S. security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of project requirements and the design of software architectures.
- Drive the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Conduct and lead architectural reviews, discussions, and provide expert guidance.
- Plan software design and development work with:
- Evaluate and integrate third-party software components, APIs, and services.
- Document and communicate software architectures, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Apply advanced architectural principles, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and guidelines.
- Oversee and ensure the correct implementation of the software architecture by the development team.

Skills & Experience
- US Citizenship - requirements of our US Government customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Security Clearance
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree a Plus+
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience in a Software Engineering environment
- DoD software engineering experience is highly desirable
- A distinguished record of leadership, marked by the mentorship of junior, mid-level, and senior SW engineers and architects.
- Exceptional knowledge of software design patterns, architectural concepts, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Proven track record of visionary leadership and strategic in software architecture.
- An unwavering commitment to advancing software architecture practices and innovation.
