We are currently looking for a: Product Leader

POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Leader is responsible for leading the company product team to ensure the overall success of the company product categories in terms of revenue, volume and profit; in charge of product planning & line-up logic, pricing strategies, product lifecycle and new product launches readiness, as well as reviewing purchases and healthy inventory levels.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

ŸManage the company product marketing team to be the bastion of product expertise and knowledge source of industry trends, following competition moves, pricing and other marketing intelligence/analysis; analyze and act upon consumer and buyer insights and market requirements.

ŸLead the preparation of the business plan for the company product categories, developing category strategies and plans for Mexico and related countries in Latam region.

ŸCoordinate product planning across the matrix with product divisions and functional teams; identify opportunities for potential new product development; develop local lineup logic, product positioning, and price strategies.

ŸEnsure the necessary support to Key Account Managers and Sales for the product sell-in; assist in developing the channel strategy for new product launches; prepare for product line reviews.

ŸManage the new products introduction process for on-time launchings; brief internal teams for marketing communications and retail/distributor activations; ensure readiness to launch of supporting assets.

ŸManage the product lifecycle, ensuring the review of PSI forecasts and purchases, activating special promotions, and managing end-of-life/transition to keep healthy inventory levels.

ŸSupport the achievement of Sales targets (value and quantity) and Net Profit, reviewing the performance of the categories and developing action plans.

ŸCoordinate with HQ the necessary technical requirements for Mexico & Latam market.

ŸOther duties as assigned.

Education/ Training/ Experience

• 5 years of working experience in product management/development functions, preferably in roles including people management on Home Appliances categories.

Degree and Language

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing or Business is required.
• Strong verbal and communication skills, proficiency in English is required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong leadership and “team player” skills.
• Team management and motivational skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Data analysis capability is required.
• Work under pressure and results driven
