About us

Medhouse is a consulting and recruitment company within Life Science. We have extensive experience and deep industry knowledge and are currently represented across all Nordic countries. We support our clients with consulting and recruitment solutions within sales & marketing as well as within medical & regulatory affairs.

About the position

We are currently looking for a Field Medical Advisor for an exciting consulting assignment within the Life Science industry. This is a field-focused role within Women’s Health, combined with some responsibilities in Urology.

In this role, you will act as a trusted scientific expert, working closely with healthcare professionals—primarily gynaecologists—to support education, clinical discussions, and the appropriate use of innovative treatments. A significant part of your work will take place in the field, engaging with healthcare professionals and decision-makers, and leading high-quality scientific exchange.

You will also collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Market Access, ensuring that all medical input is accurate, compliant, and patient-focused.

This position requires a proactive and opportunity-driven mindset, where you continuously seek new ways to educate, collaborate, and co-create value with healthcare professionals to ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a trusted medical partner in the field, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders

  • Engaging in scientific exchange around disease areas, clinical data, and treatment practices

  • Identifying insights from the field and translating them into actionable strategies internally

  • Leading and supporting medical education activities such as advisory boards and training sessions

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support market access, reimbursement discussions, and evidence generation

  • Contributing to Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives and local data generation

  • Maintaining deep therapeutic expertise through continuous learning and external engagement

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong scientific background and the ability to translate complex data into clinical practice:

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent within Life Sciences, Nursing, Health Economics, Epidemiology, or similar

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience within Medical Affairs, clinical practice, pharmacy, or related areas

  • Strong understanding of the link between scientific data, clinical practice, and patient outcomes

  • Experience in scientific communication and the ability to build compelling medical narratives

  • Knowledge of the local healthcare system, including reimbursement and market access processes

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally

  • High level of ethics, integrity, and compliance awareness

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required

  • Experience in research design, project management, or vendor management is considered a plus

  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including occasional overnight stays

  • Stockholm-based, as the role involves close interaction with key stakeholders in the region
