Salary: £45,000 with a discretionary 15% bonus
Location: Chandlers Ford/Remote

The Role

We’re looking for an Industry Code Manager to ensure our organisation meets all obligations under key energy industry codes. This role is central to maintaining compliance, shaping operational processes and ensuring the business stays ahead of regulatory change.

You’ll act as the internal expert on code requirements, helping our internal teams understand what’s required, how to evidence compliance and where risks may arise in the business. You’ll also lead the coordination of Impact Assessments, consultation responses and reporting to external third parties.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Translating regulatory and code requirements into practical operational processes
• Providing expert guidance on compliance to teams across the group
• Identifying regulatory risks and advising on mitigation
• Supporting operational teams in evidencing adherence to industry rules
• Leading the coordination and submission of Impact Assessments and consultation responses
• Ensuring the groups position is accurately represented in all regulatory submissions
• Delivering required reporting to relevant third parties
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to embed regulatory code changes

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of UK energy industry codes and regulatory frameworks
• Experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements and turning them into actionable processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and gaps
• Confidence working with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders
• Strong written communication skills for producing clear, accurate submissions
• A proactive, detail‑driven mindset with a commitment to compliance excellence
