Currently in beta, our prototype has already sparked major industry buzz as the “next big thing.” Now, we’re assembling the founding tech team that will bring it to life.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build and scale the backend engine powering Luupli. From high-performance APIs to cloud-based infrastructure, you'll play a key role in creating the platform’s most critical systems.

This is a part-time, equity-only role to start, ideal for someone excited by long-term upside, real ownership, and flexible hours. As we grow, this position will transition into a paid full-time opportunity for core contributors.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design and build RESTful APIs using C# / .NET Core

• Develop server-side architecture that is modular, testable, and scalable

• Collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to align on API contracts and performance

• Maintain and optimise database performance and cloud infrastructure

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for high-concurrency environments

• Participate in code reviews, DevOps practices, and system design sessions

• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and documentation processes

• (Bonus) Support occasional full-stack features if needed

👨🏽‍💻 What You’ll Bring

• 4–6+ years experience in backend development, with strong C# / .NET Core skills

• Solid experience building mobile or web application backends

• Strong proficiency with relational and NoSQL/document databases

• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL service design

• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and security principles

• Experience with containerised environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Bonus: Experience with GCP or cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure okay)

• Bonus: Exposure to event-driven/microservice architectures

💸 Compensation

This is an equity-only role at the pre-seed stage. You will receive a meaningful, vested equity stake in Luupli in recognition of your contributions. There is no cash salary at this time.

We're flexible on hours, and committed to transitioning this into a paid full-time position once funding is secured. Equity contributors will be prioritised.
