Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Role Overview
LinqCare is seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide psychiatric services to patients using a secure virtual audio/video platform.
Scope of Work
The PMHNP, operating as an independent practitioner, may provide services including:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations, gathering histories, and performing assessments using their own clinical judgment.
- Rendering diagnoses and managing patient treatment plans within the practitioner’s professional scope.
- Prescribing medications as permitted under California law and in accordance with federal regulations.
- Delivering therapeutic guidance, counseling, and patient education as clinically appropriate.
- Documenting services rendered in the designated EHR system to support continuity of care and billing requirements.
- Consulting with collaborating clinicians or referring patients when clinically necessary, at the contractor’s discretion.
- Ensuring that all services comply with relevant professional, legal, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Active California Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in good standing.
- Authorized to prescribe in California; California DEA registration required.
- Ability to perform services using contractor-owned equipment and a private workspace appropriate for telehealth.
- Access to reliable broadband internet sufficient for video-based clinical services.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital tools.
- Required: Bilingual—Armenian speaking.
