The Agentic Security team builds the security layer for AI agents in production. We discover agents across platforms and developer toolchains, model their tools/data/permissions and exposure, and turn that posture into explainable risk signals and guardrails, enabling organizations to adopt agents safely without slowing down innovation.
As a Software Engineer at Lakera, a Check Point company, you have the chance to contribute to and lead efforts across our whole stack, whether that's squeezing a few more milliseconds out of our inference pipeline, scaling our automatic auto red teaming algorithms to uncover flaws in GPT-4 or redesigning our data infrastructure. In all cases, your work will play a vital role in ensuring that AI can unleash its best potential for good.
About Us
We are on a mission to ensure AI does what we want it to do. We are heading towards a future where AI agents run our businesses and personal lives. We're not just dreaming about the future; we're building the security foundation for it. We empower security teams and builders so that their businesses can adopt AI technologies and unleash the next phase of intelligent computing.
We work with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and foundation model providers to protect them and their users from adversarial misalignment. We are also the company behind Gandalf, the world’s most popular AI security game.
We move fast and work with intensity. We act as one team but expect everyone to take substantial ownership and accountability. We prioritize transparency at every level and are committed to always raising the bar in everything we do. We promote diversity of thought as we believe that creates the best outcomes.
Responsibilities
Design and implement core product features in close collaboration with the founding team.
Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems.
Strike a balance between scalable code design and development speed. Shipping fast is key.
Contribute to shipping new features and improvements to our products.
Scale our existing software stack and algorithms to serve the most demanding use-cases.
Support the team in establishing a stable, high quality and flexible software engineering process.
About you:
Experience developing production-level code across a variety of technologies.
Pragmatism, enjoy taking ownership, being hands-on, and getting things done while being mindful of our longer-term vision.
Enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems.
Sense for product/customer needs.
Familiar with production level Python, C++, Golang or another interesting set of programming languages;
Frequent contributor to open-source projects and an active participant in open-source communities.
Productive by yourself as you solve abstract problems independently and produce results without constant supervision.
