AsaWorkdayAdaptive Planning Engagement Manager,you willbe responsible forsuccessfulAdaptive Planning implementations with Workday customers. You willact as the face of the project, tasked with successfully leadingAdaptive Planningimplementations from beginning to end with our customers.You'llcommunicate and address any budget or resourcing constraints, while keeping in mind ourcustomer'ssatisfaction, and the project's success and profitability. This individualis a strongleader, manager, and mentor,and thrives on customer, company, and team accomplishment.

Youwill bedirectly responsiblefor overseeing all stages of the Adaptive Insights project and project delivery. The responsibilities include assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities and enforcing accountability,developing,and maintaining a budget and schedule to ensure timely completion of project, maintaining standard project management documentation and metrics withlimited direction, working directly with internal and external client counterparts, other project leads, and ongoing operations to deliver successful implementation, and managing the scope of the project. The Workday Senior Project Manager will alsobe responsible forpromoting team engagement and building andmaintaininga successful relationship with the client.

You areexpected to:

  • Become an expert inKainos’Adaptive PlanningImplementation Methodology andleverageit on all engagements.

  • Become certifiedin WorkdayProjectManagement.

  • Become certified in Workday Adaptive Planning.

  • Manage the implementation ofup to 12simultaneous projects.

  • Demonstrate competencyin Adaptive Planning, and some knowledge ofthe Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring totheProfessional Serviceconsultantsworking onyourimplementations.

  • Ensure projects areproperly plannedand staffed.

  • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately, while working with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that couldimpactproject scope and/ortimeframes.

  • Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW.

  • Presentclientwith change orders in the eventthey'reasking Kainos to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.

  • Work withWorkdayDelivery Assurance to ensure compliance withagreed tocheckpoints.

  • Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.

  • Ensure the client takes advantage ofAdaptive Planningbest practices.

  • Identifyopportunities to position other service offerings.

  • Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing theirimplementation andidentifyopportunities to position other service offerings.

  • Assistin the transition of the customer from professional services topost-go-livesupport.

  • Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate deliveryapproach,and develop a proposal/SOW.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Organizational andProject Management Expertise:3+years’ experienceproject managing HCM, payroll or financial implementations within mid to large Enterpriseclients.Excellent organization, time management, businessdevelopmentand communication skills

  • Financial Planning Expertise:Knowledge of ERP, specifically HCM, Finance, and Payroll. Apractitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll is a plus.

  • Communication Skills:Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration.Demonstrates effective and active listening skills.

  • ConsultingSkills: Experienceeither as an internal Workday consultant or with a consulting/software company is preferred

  • Other:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

  • Ability to travel up to25%-45% at client request or Kainos request.

Desirable:

  • PreviousWorkday or Adaptive Planning experience

  • Implementations for mediumor large enterprise organizations with a Workday partner

  • Adaptive Planning certification

  • Workday Project Management certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant
