Sr. Data Scientist I (Remote - US)

The Sr. Data Scientist I will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science solutions that drive strategic business decisions. You will build and optimize machine learning models, provide technical leadership, and collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior data scientists, implement best practices, and influence long-term data initiatives. Accountabilities:

• Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end data science solutions, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Lead technical initiatives, define model goals, and participate in project scoping and scheduling.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define objectives, timelines, and deliverables for complex projects.
• Build clear, insightful reports and visualizations that translate data into actionable business insights.
• Stay current with emerging techniques and technologies in data science and machine learning.
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve critical data or model issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn, keras) and SQL skills.
• Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Deep knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, statistical methods, and model evaluation.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and deliver results in fast-paced, complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
• Growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
• M.S./M.A. in a technical field required; Ph.D. preferred.
