In this role, you will lead the engineering team responsible for a major SaaS platform that powers payment processing and automation solutions for a wide range of clients. You’ll define the long-term vision and architecture, drive innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with product and business teams, you’ll ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products. Accountabilities
- Lead the development, delivery, and long-term strategy of a large-scale SaaS payment platform.
- Define and implement an architectural roadmap aligned with business and technology goals.
- Cultivate a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
- Optimize development processes to reduce time-to-market and improve product reliability.
- Collaborate across teams to share best practices and ensure consistency in technical delivery.
- Hire, coach, and mentor engineers, promoting career growth and performance excellence.
- Partner with product and commercial stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and exceed customer expectations.
- Define and monitor key engineering productivity and performance metrics to ensure success.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in developing and deploying cloud-based services using AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of software testing practices including automation, unit, and integration testing.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to drive results.
- Skilled in managing ambiguity and operating in dynamic, fast-changing contexts.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Preferred: Experience in financial products or payment solutions, and leading distributed or remote teams.
