In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing high-performance computing solutions for genomics and bioinformatics applications. Accountabilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize HPC software for genomics and bioinformatics applications.
- Analyze and tune performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures.
- Collaborate with industry and academic partners to understand computational challenges and deliver HPC solutions.
- Work closely with hardware, CUDA, and AI research teams to apply novel technologies to genomic analysis.
- Design and implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures to solve complex computational problems.
- Break down large problems into modular, independent components for scalable development.
- Contribute to productizing HPC software and delivering robust, production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in system software engineering, HPC, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, and software design principles.
- Experience with GPU programming, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of parallel programming, concurrency control, memory management, and scalability.
- Knowledge of computer system architecture and operating systems.
- Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms and data structures.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
