As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in delivering complex, large-scale projects for clients in the energy and utilities sectors. You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise solutions while providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams. This position combines project delivery, talent development, and business growth, offering opportunities to influence innovation and digital transformation initiatives. You will mentor aspiring architects, develop best practices, and contribute to the advancement of cloud and ERP solutions. The role requires both deep technical expertise and strong client-facing skills, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and with high quality.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the lead Solution Architect on complex strategic programs, providing guidance and oversight on ERP, EAM, CRM, and cloud transformations.
- Ensure project quality through QA assessments, alignment with company standards, and client expectations.
- Mentor and develop internal talent, preparing future architects and building a robust expertise pipeline.
- Support business development initiatives, including solution validation, estimate review, and creating services offerings.
- Lead strategic innovation projects, integrating cloud technologies, SaaS adoption, and Gen AI initiatives into professional services delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, methodologies, and best practices for transformational project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience implementing enterprise software solutions in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Extensive experience in the energy, utilities, or natural resources sectors, with knowledge of utility and fixed asset accounting.
- Proven track record in leading project teams and managing complex implementations across multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
- Strong consulting, client relationship, and communication skills, including presentations for industry conferences.
- Technical proficiency in cloud technology, SaaS deployments, ERP, EAM, CRM, and Oracle SQL.
- Experience with financial accounting processes and advanced technical skills (Java, JavaScript, SQL, REST/XML web services).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Preferred: experience with AI tools, PowerBuilder, and advanced Excel functions, as well as test management software (qTest, HP ALM).
