Senior Software Developer (Remote - EU)

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality e-commerce solutions across Python, JavaScript (Vue.js, React), and PHP (Symfony).
• Configure and enhance unique online shops with new features and complex functionalities.
• Design, implement, and iterate on innovative ideas to improve the digital shopping experience.
• Explore and integrate modern web technologies to ensure scalable, performant solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, code reviews, and version control workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in backend or full-stack development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Shopware 6.
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Symfony) and Python.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Solid knowledge of Git and common development workflows.
• Formal education in computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields.
• Professional-level German language skills (C1 or above).
• Passion for programming, with a solution-oriented and quality-conscious mindset.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working abilities.
