Senior .NET Engineer (A) (Remote - Latam)

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects for a leading global technology services company. You will be responsible for migrating and modernizing critical systems from legacy frameworks to .NET Core MVC, while contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and robust solutions. The position allows hands-on involvement in both backend and frontend development, working with modern UI frameworks, SQL databases, and cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to deliver high-quality solutions. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering software that drives real business value. This is a fully remote role, giving you flexibility while contributing to global-scale projects.

Accountabilities

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will:

• Lead the migration of existing functionality from Ruby to .NET Core MVC.
• Rebuild and enhance user interfaces according to design standards using Bootstrap 5.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and design teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and MVC frameworks.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with SQL databases and query optimization.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Previous experience migrating applications from legacy frameworks.
• Knowledge of Bootstrap 5 and modern UI/UX design practices.
