We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Access Security to join a dynamic, high-impact team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that ensure secure and scalable access control. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex identity and access management challenges. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems with a focus on access security and identity management.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support scalable, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure reliability across distributed systems.
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to architecture improvements for backend services.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, security, and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with expertise in APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and identity & access management services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), and caching mechanisms.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of product ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
