Senior Advanced AI Engineer (Remote - Latam)

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI and generative AI systems, driving innovation across retrieval, multi-agent, and evaluation pipelines. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure, balancing rapid experimentation with operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to shape high-impact AI systems in production, optimize inference and retrieval pipelines, and implement best practices for model reliability, observability, and security. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered distributed systems and generative AI solutions.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize AI/ML models in production, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, balancing latency, scalability, and operational considerations.
• Implement best practices for AI security, observability, evaluation, and prompt engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions and align initiatives with business goals.
• Optimize retrieval, inference, and multi-agent pipelines for accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and methodologies to enhance system design and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Python software engineering, including async programming and frameworks like FastAPI.
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• 3+ years deploying AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production with orchestration, observability, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs) and prompt engineering techniques, including validation, schema enforcement, and hallucination mitigation.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and multi-agent systems, coordinating AI pipelines effectively.
• Strong understanding of AI system reliability, observability, performance optimization, and security practices.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).
• Advanced English level for effective collaboration with international teams.
