React Native Developer (Remote - Latam)

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to design and develop high-quality, scalable mobile applications for global projects. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build seamless user experiences on both iOS and Android platforms while also contributing to backend services using Node.js. You will leverage AWS services to integrate and optimize mobile applications and APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to tackle challenging technical problems, influence the full development lifecycle, and collaborate in a dynamic, agile environment. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of mobile solutions and the satisfaction of end-users across international markets.

Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices in Node.js to support mobile applications.
• Integrate mobile apps with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Ensure software quality through unit and integration testing and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Maintain clear documentation and enforce standards for clean code, performance, and security.
• Mentor and support team members to promote knowledge sharing and technical growth.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in React Native for cross-platform mobile application development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and continuous integration workflows.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and collaborative development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and proactive teamwork skills.
• Commitment to code quality, performance, and security best practices.
