Python Django developer with Azure Event Grid experience

Accountabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Develop and maintain APIs that allow seamless communication between application components and external systems.
• Integrate data from multiple back-end services, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure application security, implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and debug back-end systems to resolve performance or functional issues.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver consistent and efficient user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and code standards.
• Participate in code reviews, monitoring, and performance optimization using tools such as Gearset and Sentry.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of development experience in Python and Django frameworks.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL; experience with Databricks is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Event Grid and Azure APIM.
• Experience with integration technologies and enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of application security best practices and API design principles.
