Project Management Lead (Contracts)

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Lead to oversee and drive contract management initiatives. This role will focus on drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance of contracts, while collaborating closely with legal, procurement, finance, and business teams. The successful candidate will identify risks, implement process improvements, and provide leadership for contract specialists or analysts. This position operates in a dynamic, project-based environment where precision, stakeholder coordination, and process efficiency are essential. The ideal candidate combines deep contractual knowledge with strong leadership and organizational skills to deliver results across multiple projects simultaneously.

Accountabilities

• Draft, review, and manage contracts including vendor, customer, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, procurement, and business teams) to align contract terms with operational goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners throughout the contracting process.
• Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks, ensuring key clauses are properly addressed.
• Develop and implement best practices for contract lifecycle management, including tools or systems for tracking and compliance.
• Lead or mentor a team of contract specialists or analysts, managing workload distribution, quality assurance, and training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in contracts or legal-related roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry or related sector.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate requirements into actionable workflows.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, ensuring quality and compliance in deliverables.
