We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Program Manager to lead sustainment and lifecycle support efforts for complex radar and sensor systems. In this role, you will manage a team of analysts and field service representatives, oversee depot operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives. This position offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape long-term sustainment strategies. You will act as a key liaison between program offices, subcontractors, and stakeholders, contributing to the success of critical defense and aerospace programs. Accountabilities
- Lead the design, setup, and operationalization of a repair depot, including development of SOPs for inventory control, tool calibration, and logistics workflows.
- Direct logistics teams responsible for maintenance, training, documentation, and obsolescence management to meet contract specifications.
- Develop budgets, estimates, schedules, and baseline execution plans while performing Earned Value Management (EVM) as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Monitor system readiness, analyze provisioning issues, and implement logistics support plans to optimize operational performance.
- Prepare progress reports, metrics, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Train personnel on logistics processes, sustainment services, and compliance standards to ensure consistent execution and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics project management within defense, aerospace, or government contracting, including depot operations and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of DoD logistics, sustainment domains (provisioning, maintenance, obsolescence), and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and logistics systems (e.g., Unanet, WMS, DPAS).
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project coordination.
- Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in cross-functional teams, risk management, or performance-based logistics.
Knowledge of export controls, ITAR compliance, and DoD supply chain initiatives
