As a Senior Engineer specializing in React Native and Flutter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mobile applications and driving the adoption of modern cross-platform development practices. You will work on both new features and enhancements, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. This role involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with product and design teams, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will actively engage in Agile development cycles, helping the team meet sprint goals and improve processes. Your expertise will enable the team to deliver robust, user-centric applications that exceed client expectations. This fully remote position allows flexibility while giving you the opportunity to work with a dynamic, international team.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Flutter.
- Build attractive user interfaces, REST APIs, and support database/cloud/server administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches and document user stories.
- Participate in Agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features and addressing defects or enhancement requests.
- Mentor junior developers, share best practices, and support peer growth.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the overall technical strategy for projects.
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of professional experience in software development with mobile technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with React Native and Flutter; experience in Kotlin and Swift is preferred.
- Experience deploying applications to Android and iOS app stores.
- Strong understanding of building data-driven REST APIs, administering databases, and managing cloud/server infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Outcome-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
