We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, cloud-integrated solutions that enhance business efficiency across multiple departments. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, cross-functional projects, building custom extensions, applications, and reports while mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS), and integration technologies such as REST and JSON. You will collaborate closely with business analysts to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while contributing to process improvements and technical excellence in a fully remote environment.
Accountabilities
- Lead development and implementation using JD Edwards E1 toolsets, Oracle VBCS, REST, JSON, and Orchestrator.
- Design and implement custom extensions, applications, tables, and business functions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Build and support custom reports, applications, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and process improvement suggestions.
- Maintain best practices for JDE APIs, UBEs, BSSVs, NERs, and BI Publisher to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Contribute to full-cycle implementations and support the continuous improvement of technical solutions across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of JD Edwards development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) and JDE AIS integration.
- Proficiency in Java, C, and relational database design.
- Experience with full-cycle implementations using Orchestrator and Groovy (2–4 implementations preferred).
- Strong knowledge of JDE APIs, UBEs, BSSVs, NERs, and BI Publisher.
- Experience integrating third-party systems and leading cross-functional projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Functional knowledge in JDE modules such as Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Order Management is a plus.
